The beauty of Cross Country is that the athletes determine their own fates of the season with their work ethic, dedication, and attitudes. Times don't lie. Varsity is solely based on the 7 best times from the previous meet. Lacing up the shoes each and every day will result in personal improvement and allow an individual to attain personal and contribute to team goals.
I started as a Junior Varsity runner in high school, walked on in college, but with hard work, dedication, and an optimistic attitude to become an Olympic Trials qualifier in 2004.
